Agent Max Cash Slot Review

Agent Max Cash is a spy-themed online slot powered by Amaya. For those of you not in the gambling know, this company has recently paid billions of dollars for the online poker group PokerStars. So, with that amount of cash backing them, we are expecting something really good in this game. It is a five reel, twenty-five pay-line slots with various progressive as well as in game jackpot prizes available. Special Features

Graphically speaking this is a well-designed online game, although we had great difficulty accessing in-game pay tables, which made it hard to assess just from playing. However play is smooth, ambient sounds are appropriate, as well as in theme, and basically five reels have been set into a high tech sort of backdrop. Icons featured are a blood-spattered dagger, metal briefcase, microchip, laptop, top secret papers, and tradition card indices from Ace through to King, Queen, Jack and 10.

Special icons are a scatter which we think is a time bomb of some sort, a wild which is a spin locking vault, and the bonus icon which is presumably Agent Max Cash. All picture icons animate when they are part of winning combinations, for example the vault opens and we stacks of gold bars.

Pay-lines may be set by the player at anything from 1 – 25, and coin value starts at 0.01, up to 5.00. Across twenty-five pay-lines a maximum bet is 125.00. However for the player with a low budget, a minimum bet across all of the lines only cost 0.25p.

Bonus Feature

The bonus game is a free spins feature where three or more of the bonus icon triggers this round. Agent Max Cash animates and spins into action on a separate screen, where he is joined by a female counterpart. The player is then invited to Select Bonus 1, 2 or 3. In 1 it offers ten free spins with multipliers of between x 2 and x 5. Bonus 2 offers four free spins, but with 8 x the pay-out. Bonus three offers “random” free spins which each earn 2 x multipliers. Which one you choose, depends on how much money is in the bet, and how much risk one wants to take. We went with the maximum risk of Bonus 3 and landed only five free spins, and 160 credits. Should have gone for option 1! At the end of the bonus game, Agent Max and his lady-friend fill the third reel and kiss before they depart.
