Babushka is a 5 reel and 25 pay lines video slot game that has been designed and released by NuWorks. It Includes; three Progressive Jackpots, a Wild Symbol, a Free Spins round and a Scatter symbol.

About Babushka

Babushka is a Russian themed slot game that is based around a family of Russian Nesting Dolls, which are often incorrectly referred to as Babushka doll instead of a Matryoshka Doll. So sadly, it is nothing to do with Kate Bush’s ‘Baooshka’ hit song, although we couldn’t stop singing it for some reason.

The virtual Mr and Mrs Babushka live in a snow covered farm in a rural part of Russia. The games symbols are really well designed, and had somewhat of an aww factor. They included; Mr Babushka, Mrs Babushka, a Cow, a Sheep, Painted Easter Eggs, their snow covered Farm House, Snowflakes, Loaves of Bread, Knitting Needles and Wool and some brightly coloured stripped Clogs.

Betting Options

The minimum spend per spin is $0.01 and the maximum $25. To get a bet amount that suits your pocket, you simply need to amend the number of pay liens in the game (1 to 25) and the coin size ($0.01 to $1).

Slot Features

Mr Babushka acts as the games Wild symbol. He can make an appearance on any of the games reels and can replace every other symbol, excluding the Scattered Mrs Babushka. If you manage to make up a winning pay line with Mr Babushka help, then he will crack open (like a Russian Doll) and expand across the entire reel.

Mrs Babushka is the games Scatter symbol. She can not only pay out some handsome total bet multipliers, but will also reward you with some free spins on the game. Three Mrs Babushka symbols will give you six free spins on the game and a 1x win multiplier. Four symbols will pay out eight free spins and a 2x win multiplier and if you get all five Mrs Babushka symbols on screen, then you will be given ten free spins on a game and a 3x win multiplier. The free spins round is also able to be re-triggered.

The games three different progressive jackpots; Mini, Minor and Major can be triggered after any single spin on the game. In our opinion this made the game so much more exciting, as it potentially means that you could win hundreds of dollars for pennies.
