Iron Duke Slot Review

Iron Duke is a 5 reel and 25 pay lines video slot game that was created by NuWorks Gaming.  It boasts; a Scatter symbol, a Free Spins round, a Wild symbol and three Progressive Jackpots.

About Iron Duke

The Iron Duke was the nickname of Arthur Wellesley, the Duke of Wellington.  The Duke of Wellington was a soldier and statesman who ended up servicing as the British Prime Minster twice.  During his reign as Prime Minister he became increasingly unpopular and had to put iron shutters across the windows of his London home, this led to his nickname the Iron Duke.

The Iron Duke Slot game doesn’t focus on Arthur Wellesley’s political career, but rather his military career and the time he spent at the Battle of Waterloo.  The video slot game is set in the middle of the famous battle, and includes symbols of; Duke of Wellington, Cannons, Cannon Balls, British Flags, Helmets, Pistols, Napoleon and some Letter and Number symbols.

Betting Options

The Iron Duke slot game allows you to spend between $0.01 and $25 per spin.  Simply select how many of the games 25 pay lines you would like to activate, and then multiply this by your chosen coin size ($0.01 to $1).

Slot Features

The Duke of Wellington is the games Wild symbol.  This symbol can replace the majority of the other symbols in the game, excluding the Scattered Cannon.

Two, three, four, or five of the Scattered Cannon symbols in any position on the games reels will pay out a 1x, 2x, 20x or 200x total bet multiplier respectively.  That’s not all they will do though, as if you manage to get three or more Cannon symbols on screen, then you will be taken to the Battle of Waterloo.

This loads a separate screen, where you can try and defeat Napoleon to win some free spins.  Simply press the Fire button to start the battle.  The bonus round will end when either The Duke of Wellington or Napoleon has had all of their cannons destroyed.

Once the bonus round has finished, you will be awarded a number of free spins on the game and a win multiplier.

The Iron Duke Slot game also boasts three randomly triggered progressive jackpots that can be won after any spin on the game.  The jackpots can be won with any coin size; however, you do have to be betting on all 25 pay lines to qualify.
