About Montezuma

The Montezuma slot game is based upon the ninth ruler of Tenochtitlan; Montezuma the II. Montezuma ruled Tenochtitlan (Lake Texcoco, in the Valley of Mexico) between 1502 and 1520, until he was defeated by the Spanish.

The Montezuma slot game takes place at the height of Montezuma’s reign and is; therefore, an Aztec themed slot game. The game takes place in the jungle on the outskirts of Tenochtitlan and includes the following symbols; a beautiful Aztec Women, Montezuma, an Eagle, an Aztec Pyramid, a Feathered Headdress, a Gold Mask, a Snake, a Gold Carved Wheel and some Letter and Number symbols.

Betting Options

The Montezuma slot game requires you to play with all 30 pay lines on each spin; however, you are able to select your own bet per pay line. This can be amended between $0.01 and $2, which allows you to spend from $0.30 up to $60 per spin.

Slot Features

The games Wild symbol is the Aztec Pyramid. This Pyramid can make an appearance on the games 2nd, 3rd and 4th reel, and can replace every other symbol, except for the Scattered Gold Carved Wheel.

The Scattered Gold Wheel can not only give you a total bet multiplier of up to 10x, but it can also trigger the games free spins feature, when you get three or more symbols in any position on screen. The free spin round starts by spinning the games bonus wheel; this will select you a number of free spins between 3 and 25. Before each free spin starts, the bonus wheel will spin again to select you a win multiplier between 2x and 10x.

During the free spins round, you only have to bring up two or more of the Gold Wheel symbols on screen to re-trigger the feature. Any additional free spins you win will simply be added to your existing spins.
