Spieldev Software

Spieldev Game Studio is a boutique online slot developer based in Argentina. The company was founded in 2016 and by early 2017 they had inked a deal with Leander Games for content distribution. Leander Games is based in Buenos Aires, so it's not surprising that Spieldev would choose to deploy their games on Leander's proprietary LeGa Platform.

The content distribution partnership allows the company to get its cutting edge games out to a wide market while they are still just growing the company. The first game to debut from their Argentine studio was Codex Jackpot in March 2017, and it was followed by Fruity 7. It didn't take long for well-known casinos such as Vera & John and Slots Million to take the first game live. Vera & John casino released Codex Jackpot about a month before Slots Million launched both games.

Sorry, there are no casinos by Spieldev available in your country. Try these casinos instead.

The LeGa Remote Gaming Server is easily integrated with other platforms so more casinos are likely to pick up Spieldev games as more are released. The distribution channel gives up and coming developers a chance to break into the wider markets in ways they never could before - a wise move on the company's part. Especially, since Leander Games not only services operators but has agreements with other distribution partners as well.

The next games slated to come out of the company's studios are Quake, which as of late August 2017 was already available in display mode on the Spieldev website - and Spin Island.

Quake is set in a city besieged by earthquakes. Important characters on the reels include first responders, a news anchor, the obligatory damsel in distress, and a rescue helicopter.

Players can instantly win 100 times their bet on the slot game. The Earthquake and the Shattering wild award bigger prizes as earthquakes accumulate. The shattering wilds populate reel positions around them and pay multipliers up to 6x. The earthquake simply happens and pays instant prizes of 10, 25, and 100 times total bet.

Quake offers a high theoretical return to player percentage (RTP) of 96.36% with a max win of 7305.6 times bet. The game has 25 pay lines and a hit ratio of 25.07%. The math model shows an index of 7.60 on the volatility scale making it a high variance game - but that could be surmised by the size of the largest potential win noted above.

The artwork and sound effects on all of the Spieldev games are "as good as it gets" and slightly reminiscent of some Leander Games, leading one to wonder if some of the talent came from their country-men's labs. They don't go into any detail on their website's About Us section so for now we're left to wonder.

Still under development and labeled as Coming Soon, are three more games. So far, Spieldev seems to be focused completely on slots rather than tables or other RNG games like cards. Robin in the Woods, Make a Wish, and Patagonia are the remaining teasers left on the company's website for now. Each should be as good as the last.
