Betclic Bows Out of Online Gambling Market in Belgium

Betclic is an online gambling portal that offers members the chance to enjoy sports betting, casino games and poker games without leaving the comfort of their own home.  They have players throughout Europe; however, they have recently had to bow out from the Belgium market.

A couple of weeks ago, Belgium enforcement officials for the online gambling authorities seized all of Betclic company funds that were currently held in Belgium, as they believed they were breaking their online gambling laws in terms of how they targeted their players in Belgium.

Not only was over €60,000 taken from Betclic, but they have also been put on the countries black list for supplying the Belgium community with illegal online gambling services.  Betclic have denied any wrong doing; however, they have since withdrawn from the country.
