Anti-Online Gambling Politicians Want Wire Act Restored in USA
Back in March 2014, Sheldon Adelson managed to use his billions to get a new bill into the halls of congress. The new bill proposed that the United States of America restored the Wire Act to its formal glory. This would result in a ban on all kind of internet gambling across America.
It has since been reported that Kelly Ayotte, Dianne Feinstein and Lindsey Graham have used their positions as US Senators to write to the US Attorney General, Eric Holder asking him to lend his support to the bill.
In the letter, they expressed their concern about internet gambling turning electrical devices into a personal casino that is open 24 hours a day.
