Record Performance for Danish Online Gambling

Denmark legalised online gaming in January 2012, and they have since reported a record Gaming Gross Revenues performance in its online casino and sports betting sites.

They reported that the Q2-2014 Gaming Gross Revenues for sports betting reached 445 Million Danish Krone, which was a huge improvement on Q2-2013 revenue, which reached 335 Million Danish Krone.  The surge in revenue is believed to be thanks to the 2014, World Cup in Brazil.

Their online casino sites also recorded an improvement with Q2-2014 Gaming Gross Revenues of 270 Million Danish Krone, which was an 8% increase from last year.

Denmark is hoping to make 7.7 Billion throughout 2014 for all their legalised online gambling sites combined.
