UK Gambling Commission Launches New Online Gaming Consultation

The UK Gaming Commission has launched an online gambling consultation that will allow not only the industry, but also the members of the public to have their say regarding social responsibility protections that they think the industry should provide.

The commission will be held open until the end of October 2014, and has been created to try and prevent problem gambling in the UK.  With advances in technology and the latest point-of-consumption rules coming into play, this is the perfect time for the UK Gambling Commission to make some further changes.

In the commission they have highlighted the fact that gambling is a leisure pursuit for the majority of players; however, for some it can cause some serious harm in the form of gambling addictions.
