Canadian Police Invade Amaya Gaming’s Head Office

Last week Forbes magazine published a news article announcing that Canadian Police had made a surprise visit to Amaya Gaming’s Head Office in Montreal, Canada.

They also visited Canaccord Ingenuity, an investment bank and Manulife Financial an insurance company that both helped with Amaya Gaming’s takeover of the Rational Group.  This led to speculation that perhaps Amaya had been involved in insider trading; however, the police have yet to release any significant details about the investigation.

Amaya issues a statement on Thursday the 11th of December, denying any wrongdoing; however, they did confirm that the police were looking into details surrounding their takeover of the Rational Group.
