South Africa Once Again Debate Legalising Online Gambling
South African politicians have once again met to discuss the legalisation of online gambling in their country, thanks to a new private member bill named PMB3-2015.
The bill was introduced by Geordin Hill-Lewis a member of Parliament for the Democratic Party. The bill wishes to expand on the current legalisation of online gambling in South Africa; it would see online casino and online poker sites become legally regulated and licensed. Currently only limited sports betting is allowed in the country.
Unfortunately for Geordin Hill-Lewis, the bill has currently been tabled due to the majority of parliament disagreeing with the bill.
