Player Launches Class Action Regarding Auto Hold
Justin Curzin from Oregon has launched a class action against the Oregon State Lottery and a range of gambling operators operating in the state. The class action claims that the auto hold features on ten of their land based poker machines are not maximising the player’s chance of picking up a win as what was previously perceived.
In the class action, Justin Curzin also points out that the named companies are aware of this flaw in their games and that they have not taken the action to change player’s perceptions about auto hold.
The outcome of this case could have a huge implication on not only land based games, but also online game that uses the auto play/auto hold feature.
