Californian Internet Poker Bill Running Out of Time

California was hoping to be the next state in the United States of America to legalise internet poker, with two internet poker legalisation bills waiting to be legalised by Senate and House.  However, both bills have been stuck at the committee stage for the past couple of months, which has led to many believing the bills are not going to make the legislative deadline of the 31st of August 2014.

If the bills are not passed by this deadline, then they will be scrapped and will have to re-raise in the next legislative season.  

Over the course of the past five years, there have been various heated debates surrounding internet poker and internet gambling in California, with politicians and interested parties not being able to come to an agreement over the bill.
