Online Casino Sites in Delaware Are Struggling to Make Money
We have previously written about how online casino sites in Delaware have been struggling to make the high volume of money that was forecast before online gambling went legal in the state.
Part of the online gambling law stipulates that the state of Delaware gets the first $3.75 Million that each online operator makes in revenue. When the law was first put forward, operators probably thought this was a good deal, as it was forecast that each online casino should at least make $5 Million in revenue each year. However, local media reports have stated that the state has only seen $318,000, with the operators so far earning nothing.
Since November 2013, online casinos in Delaware have made $1.2 Million combined.
