Study Shows That American’s Spend 2 Hours and 42 Minutes on Smartphones per Day
We were very interested to read the latest study carried out into mobile usage by the American analytics company, Flurry Analytics. They found that on average Americans spend two hours and forty-two minutes using their smartphones and/or tablets per day.
More surprisingly only thirty-one minutes of this time was spent browsing the web, which meant that the remaining two hours and eleven minutes, was spent playing different apps. This meant that the participants in the study spent 86% of their smartphone/tablet time using apps.
The same study was carried out by the company last year and the percentage of time American’s spent playing apps on their smartphones and/or tablets has increased by 6%.
