666Bet Director Arrested in Alleged Multi-Million Pound Fraud Case

Just last week we talked about how MetroPlay’s 666Bet had had their gambling licence suspended by the UK Gambling Commission and the Alderney Gaming Control Commission.

The Independent has since reported that Paul Bell, one of the Directors of 666Bet has been arrested regarding an alleged money-laundering and fraud case totalling over £21 Million.

The case named Operation Bannock has resulted in six other suspects also being arrested, with over £1 Million is cash being seized by police.  HMRC have been working closely with police throughout the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man to build the case.

Neil Andrews, the current manager at 666Bet, spoke to the Independent and assured them that two incidents are not related.
