Were Iranians Behind Las Vegas Sands Cyber Attack?

An interesting article has recently been published in the Washington Post regarding last year’s cyber attack on the Las Vegas Sands land-based casino.  The newspaper believes that the hack was carried out by Iranians, due to Sheldon Adelson (CEO of Las Vegas Sands) financial support of Israel.

The Director of National Intelligence in the USA; James Clapper talked to the Senate Armed Services Committee regarding the subject, and he believes that the USA can expect more cyber attacks from nation-states rather than individual hackers.

On a more positive note, he also spoke about how detection technology had improved, which meant that it is now easier to reveal a hacker's identity.
