Internet Gambling Hearing in Pennsylvania Goes Well
Last week we informed you that the House Democratic Policy Committee in Pennsylvania had arranged for a two and a half hour public hearing, as they were interested in becoming the next state in America to legalise internet gambling.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board were the first to speak on the issue and they believe that internet gambling can effectively be regulated and controlled by the state, by only allowing existing licensed casinos in Pennsylvania to apply for online gambling licenses.
Many subjects were covered over the course of the public hearing and overall the evidence was mostly positive for internet gambling. However, the meeting did highlight that Pennsylvania lawmakers would have to learn more about the topic before any decisions were made.
