Will South Carolina Legalise Online Gambling?

The Democratic Party in South Carolina has been looking for an alternative tax revenue source that will help them raise the $20 billion they desperately need to help fix South Carolina’s decaying roads and bridges.

They have decided that legalising online gaming and other gambling revenues in the state could be the way forward and have; therefore decided to ask local residents opinions by adding it to their June Ballot.  The result of the ballot will not automatically legalise gambling, but will rather allow them to seek out an alternative opinion on the matter.

If they cannot find an alternative revenue stream for the money, then they will be forced to increase South Carolina’s other tax streams.
