South African Minster Releases Update about the National Gambling Board
Around two months ago, the entire South African National Gambling Board was suspended due to accusations of corruption and wasteful spending. A forensic investigation is still looking into the board. However, that hasn’t stopped the South African Minster from releasing his plans to remove the board and replace them with either a Chief Executive Officer or a Commissioner that would report directly to the Minister.
He also said there will be tighter rules when it comes to their travelling expenses, and they will have a set salary.
