Kansspelautoriteit Follows Up Warnings with Fines

Earlier on in the year, Kansspelautoriteit issued warnings to a variety of different online gambling sites that were operating illegally throughout the Netherlands.  

Royaalcasino.nl/.com and 7red.nl/.com did convert their gambling sites to English following the warning from Kansspelautoriteit.  However, they still had a Dutch Facebook page targeting players in the Netherlands and were running TV advertisements saying they accepted Dutch players.

This led to Kansspelautoriteit investigating the companies behind the gambling sites, which ended up in them receiving a €310,000 fine.  A €130,000 fine was given to both Bluemay Enterprises NV and Redcorp SA, whereas Bluemay Enterprises Ltd received a €50,000 fine.
