Still No Updates on South African Gambling Board Suspension

Cast your mind back to around six weeks ago, and you may recall that we published a news article talking about how the entire South African Gambling Board had received a suspension.  No reason was given at the time, and all the government said was that they were looking into the board’s activities in great detail.

Six weeks down the line and the South African Government still haven’t explained why the Gambling Board was suspended; despite attending a meeting with the trade and industry committee, whose job is to challenge the government about their decision.

Until the board is re-instated, it is being run by two government-appointed administrators.
