Fourth Land Based Casino Closes in Atlantic City

trumpplazalogo.JPG

Last week we talked about how Trump Plaza would be shutting their doors in Atlantic City after declining profits year on year.  They will be the fourth land based casino site to shut this year in Atlantic City, due to them not being able to compete with the newer more ritzy casinos on the Boardwalk.

Trump Entertainment Resorts tried to sell their Trump Plaza resort last year to a California firm for just $20 Million; however, the deal eventually fell through.  Their second establishment; Trump Taj Mahal will also be closing its doors in November.
