Illegal Online Gambling Causing a Problem for Czech Government
A recent government audit on the Czech Republic’s Finance Ministry has brought to light some problems with their online gambling industry. First of all, they believe that unlicensed online gambling sites are taking around €21.6 Million each year out of the nation, without paying the government any tax.
They have also accused the Finance Ministry of spending the country’s tax money on an incompetent information system for their online gaming and lotteries industry. They have responded to the government saying that they are already working on a new technological solution that works by linking a central monitoring system to licensed casino sites.
