Intertain Speaks Out About Rumoured Acquisition

Over the last couple of years, the Toronto-based online gambling group, Intertain has acquired a number of different businesses including; InterPoker, InterCasino and the UK based online bingo sites owned by Mandalay Media.

However, over the last couple of weeks rumours have started to spread that they were once again looking into acquiring a big company.  In fact, the rumours were so persistent that it resulted in increased trading activity and to the company issuing a statement. 

Intertain advised that their growth strategy does involve purchasing companies and that they are often in talks with other companies.  However, these talks often do not lead to the acquisition, which is why they do not comment on any potential acquisitions until a legal document has been signed.
