Update on Amaya’s Acquisition of The Rational Group

Just last month, Amaya Gaming Group announced that they would be purchasing the Rational Group for over $4.9 Billion.  The deal is currently being implemented by the company, but we wanted to give you an update of what has been happening.

First of all, Amaya has managed to get the approval they needed from all the different gaming regulatory authorities that currently supply a gaming license to the Rational Group.  They have also been given the conditional approval from the Toronto Stock Exchange; however, they still have to wait for Amaya Gaming Group’s stockholders to agree to the merger in a meeting next week before the deal will be finalised.
