Betfair to Continue Online Operation in New Jersey

Currently, to operate a legal online gambling site in the state of New Jersey you also have to have a land based casino in the state.  When it was announced that Betfair’s partner Trump Plaza casino would be shutting its doors in the middle of September, many players wondered if the online site would continue to operate.

The good news, is that the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement are permitting the company to carry on operating legally in the state; however, it is believed that they will have to find a new land based partner in an undisclosed amount of time.
