GTECH in Talks to Buy IGT
IGT regularly considers, and on occasion explores, a broad range of strategic alternatives, including but not limited to business combinations, changes to our capital structure and adjustments to our portfolio of businesses.

Over the course of the past couple of weeks, tongues have been wagging regarding GTECH’s intention to purchase International Game Technology, or as you may know them IGT.
GTECH has recently confirmed that they have been in talks with IGT to purchase the company. They have stressed that is still early days and that they have hired advisors to help wager a deal.
IGT have also commented to the press regarding the deal; however, they are keeping their cards under the table by saying that they regularly consider deals with outside companies, as they are always interested in increasing the value of their shares for their shareholders.
