Champion of the Track Slot Review
Champion of the Track is a five reel, 30 pay lines (non-progressive) slot game by Net Entertainment (Net Ent). This isn’t any normal video slot game though, as it has an unusual ‘Jockey Career Steps’ bolt on feature, as well as a bonus round and a Wild and Scatter symbol.
About Champion of the Track
Champion of the Track is a horse racing themed slot game, which has been designed to look like a fun board game. The reels of the game are located in the centre of a racecourse, which features the Jockey Career Steps feature around it.
The symbols in the game consist of Jockeys with different numbers on their jerseys, as well as Horses, Horse Shoes, Stop Watches, Binoculars, Rosettes and Trophies etc. The sound effects in the game also make you feel like you are attending Ascot Racecourse, as you can listen to bird singing, people chatting and horses being groomed and mucked out.

Champion of the Track will be perfect for all types of players, as you can wager anything between $0.01 and $60 per spin. Like the majority of other Net Ent games, you can amend your coin size, the amount of pay lines and the bet level.
Slot Features
The Champion of the Track slot wild symbol is the Jockey wearing the red riding helmet. This clever symbol can stand in for the majority of the games symbols, but unfortunately not the scatter or bonus symbols.
The games scatter symbol is the symbol of the Horses Head. Just get three or more of the scatter symbols on your screen and you will be given 10 free spins on the game, where your winnings will be doubled. These aren’t any normal spins though, as the screen changes to show your horse on a training track underneath your reels. Each time the Horse scatter symbol appears on your screen during the free spins round, your horse will move along the training track. If he manages to pass all five of the other horses training, then you will be given one Career Step – a bit more about this later.
If you manage to get three of more Gold Trophies up on your screen, then you will access the Champion of the Track slot bonus game. The bonus game asks you to select a Jockey to race for you. The position your Jockey comes in the race affects the prize you will receive and the number of Career Steps you will be able to move.
We have mentioned the Jockey Career steps aspect of this game throughout the review and basically it is an added feature that allows players to advance up their Career Board, by collecting steps. There are twenty steps in total and if you manage to reach the end, then you will receive a Career Bonus based upon how much money you have wagered. There are also two mystery golden cup rewards to be won on your way around the board and we love the fact that the game can also remember your progress for up to 48 hours after your last spin.
