Created as a religious antipode to all the good in this world, demons have inspired and continue to inspire creators from various artistic spheres. For example - Goya’s Black Paintings, Demons and Wizards, Angels and Demons, Night of the Demons, Demon Hunter, etc. 

This time, NextGen is bringing The Demon Code – a video slot inspired by these creatures and played on a 6x6 grid with the cluster pays mechanic.

Is the Theme Interesting? 

As its name suggests, the title uses an underworld/fantasy theme. The large grid is set inside a dark dungeon and guarded by 4 cartoonish demons and it’s obvious that the developer used the Notre Dame gargoyles as the main inspiration for these 4 characters.

As we already stated, The Demon Code is a cluster video slot played on a large 6x6 grid. To form a winning combination, you’ll need to connect (horizontally or vertically) at least 4 identical symbols in a cluster.

What Special Features Can You Expect?

Demon Summons is probably the game’s main highlight as it consists of 4 different game modifiers: 

∙ Purple Demon – randomly adds Wilds on the grid 

∙ Blue Demon/Cryptic Chaos feature - chooses a random symbol and pay for it 

∙ Green Demon – triggers the Ancient Alchemy features which adds a mystery symbol the reels

∙ Red Demon - activates the Fiery Fusion feature which will add blocks (3x3 or 5x5) of identical symbols on the grid 

Free Spins – triggered by 4 scatters the feature will initially award 10 spins free of charge. Keep in mind that each additional scatter will give 2 extra freebies. Keep collecting scatters and you’ll expand the grid (up to 12 rows) and increase the win multiplier by 10.
