Are we alone in this universe? Do aliens and other extraterrestrial beings exist? These are some of the questioned which have plagued mankind for millennia, for as long as we have looked up to the stars, we have questioned whether or not we are alone in this universe. With the advent of the top secret Area 51, Americans have long since believed that we are not alone in this universe – and our government has proof. With TV shows like The X-Files, our fascination with aliens grows even stronger. Basic Features
The details of the Alien Autopsy slot are not nearly as top secret as the real autopsies that it is based off of. The slot follows the lay out of a basic five spinning reel with 15 unique pay lines. These pay lines are what allow players to win money. Coins have a large range of values, anywhere between $0.01 to $25, making this a higher stakes gambling slot. Players can choose how many of the 15 pay lines they want to bet on.
All of the symbols follow the same theme of aliens and mystery. There are the high card values of Ace, King, Queen, and Jack, alongside the shadow alien, surgical tools, movie reels, airplane with radar, newspaper headline, and the restricted area sign. These, when combined with the background which alternates between blue skies and stormy on a military base, create a mood of mystery and suspense for the player.
Bonus Features
The wild symbol is clearly demarcated on the reels as “Wild”, which makes it easier for players to understand what is going on amongst the clutter of all of the moving graphics. The wild can be used as a substitute for any other symbol except for the scatter.
The bonus scatter is represented by the Alien Autopsy logo, and is used to open up the Alien Autopsy bonus feature. If players are able to match at least three of the Alien Autopsy logos, they will activate the bonus feature.
The Alien Autopsy bonus feature allows players to essentially become the surgeon who is cutting into the brain of an alien for an autopsy. Players will choose three different parts of the alien’s brain to cut and dissect, revealing different money prizes. The video graphics for this section of the game is excellently done.
Overall
When playing this game you almost forget that you are gambling. You become sucked into the world of alien conspiracies and cover ups, if you are not careful you might find yourself starting to sound like Fox Mulder. The game play is strong and unique, and will allow players the chance to play high risk gambling, or low risk, whichever they prefer.
