One part of American history that gets used a lot in various forms of media is the Wild West. The popularity of Western-themed television shows and movies in particular have made this a very popular genre overall, and Play'n Go added yet another title to that genre with their Gunslinger: Reloaded game.
Instead of playing into the popular tropes for this genre in a lazy way, they went ahead and dished out their own approach to how they think the theme should be handled, and it came out to be fairly impressive. Nothing in this game was ignored from the feature set to the pay table or graphics and sound, and that gives this title a tremendous degree of cohesion that's often missing when slots are built based on a popular type of theme.
Slot Layout
Play'n Go opted for a format here that is super solid, and it has a grid of symbols that consists of five vertical reels with three horizontal rows and a total of 25 paylines. These lines pay from left to right only, and they cannot be changed in number. While this might seem like it limits the customization available, it actually helps to keep players in the best position possible since virtually all slots penalize players in terms of their RTP for playing with fewer lines per spin.
Betting is simplified as well, and you'll choose from around a dozen different options for your total bet size instead of having to juggle coin sizes, number of coins and so on. The betting range is $0.25 at the minimum to $100 per spin at the maximum, and that seems like plenty of a range to appeal to pretty much all players.
Wild Gunslinger Symbols
One of the symbols that you'll want to see the most is the wild gunslinger. He's the wild symbol in this game, and while he helps you to get other winning combinations, he'll also help you to get a 400x win for five of a kind of him only. He doesn't substitute for scatters or bonus symbols, but he's very valuable anyway.
Scattered White Horse Symbols
The white horse is a scatter that pays no matter where it lands on the reels. Five of a kind is worth a strong 150x win, and you can also pick up 15x for four of a kind or 3x for three of a kind. A payout of 2x for two of a kind of this scatter is one of the easiest wins to get in this entire game.
Bottle Shooting Free Spins

The ace, king, queen, jack and ten are all playing cards in spades in this game, and there are different colors of poker chips in front of them that help to add some variety so that they don't all run together visually. The payouts on these are 6x, 5x, 4x, 3x and 2x, respectively, all for five of a kind combinations.
Our Thoughts
One of the things that we always give a lot of praise for is when all of the parts of a slot come together in a cohesive manner. The Gunslinger: Reloaded slot by Play'n Go really shows how well this dynamic can come together, and we absolutely love what they have done in this regard.
The volatility of this title is around the medium level because of all of the value tied up in the feature and jackpot, but the hit-rate is still fairly high at the same time.
