Ah, the classic video slot machine. Even though there might be an overabundance of your typical games on the market, there is something homely and comforting in the familiarity of the vintage-looking machine with reels spinning the sevens and fruity symbols.

Theme

While many casino software providers aim to make all kinds of thematically differing slots, taking you from outer space to ancient lands, it’s the simplicity that hits the sweet spot here. A simple and straightforward approach pays off in this case, as this title does a good job of keeping you relaxed and, at the same time, packing quite a bit of fun.

Lively colors will be popping up before your eyes, as the deliciously looking plums, cherries, and lemons, as well as the stylishly designed bar symbols, sevens and, of course, Wilds, burst into a cutely animated fire whenever you score a win.

Wilds do not come as a some particularly interesting, thematic symbol, but rather as they are – just “Wilds” written on a square with thick yellow letters. The same goes for Free Spins, though its yellow letters cover the circular purple background. There is an interesting animation when getting Free Spins as the reel speeds up, followed by a sound of a running motor.

Accompanying music is appropriately lounge-like, though in a manner so uplifting, that you'll occasionally hear some undertones that wouldn't feel out of place in some sort of amusement park.

Betting Options and Functions

Dashboard is located at the bottom of the screen, featuring informative menu, maximum bet option, a spin button (of course), as well as an automatic spin option, ranging from 10 to 1000 spins in a row, or even an infinite number of spins, effortlessly continuing until you decide to stop it.

Worth mentioning is also the Respin option for each of the five slots, though you can respin only one slot at a time, with varying fees attached to each of them.

What you would be aiming to get most of the time is, of course, is a Wild symbol, multiplying your bets from 5x in case of two of them, over 100x and 1000x for three or four up to head-spinning 10000x when all five of them land.

Also worth mentioning is that during Free Spins, wins are multiplied by two.

Ranging from88% to 98%, the RTP is a bit more whimsical than it would be desirable, but when it’s high, it’s really high!

Features

There isn't all that much in terms of features. Or at least, nothing out of the norm. There are Wilds, there are Free Spins and there are three Scatter symbols among the eleven different symbols. As is usually the case, Wild symbol substitutes for any other symbol, but the Scatter. Pretty basic, one should say.

What stands out though, is the aforementioned unique Reel Respin feature, allowing you to respin any of the five reels, allowing for an opportunity to get that one missing symbol and make it five out of five.

Other than that, that's pretty much it, and, to be honest, there doesn't have to be more for this type of game.

Our Take

As far as your classic slot machines go, Reel Hot Respin has it all. Or rather, it has all that it needs to have. The simplicity and an inviting design are something to be admired here and you would find yourself having a lot more fun than you thought possible at first glance. Worth trying out!
