Have you ever wondered what the life of Native Americans looks like and how you would fare as one?

Thanks to Chief’s Magic by Ainsworth software provider you can enjoy the breathtaking surroundings without technology that will ruin the moment!

This title features a standard 5x3 grid layout with 50 paylines, amazing visual effects and a rocking soundtrack.

Of course, it comes packing some special features as well – Wild Symbol, Multiplier Wilds, Free Spins and Second Chance Re-Spin!

Theme and Symbol

Right from the start, you will find yourself looking at tall mountains during the night, with the stars lighting your way!

Across the reels you will get to see some interesting symbols that fit the theme very well – tomahawks, teepees and wolves, all representing the symbols that award higher payouts.

Unfortunately, the lower paying symbols look kind of bland and will potentially ruin the otherwise great visual experience for some.

While the soundtrack that’s playing in the background sounds pretty good on its own, when paired with the Native American theme, it doesn’t really match it that well.

Betting Options and Other Functions

When it comes to betting options, you will have quite a few choices at your disposal, enough to accommodate most play styles.

While the minimum bet of 1 credit might be a bit higher than what we usually see, it is still a relatively low option that will come in handy if you are a newer player looking to get familiar with the reels.

On the other hand, high-rollers will have an option of 50 credits, which is what the provider set the highest betting option to.

While this title does come with a sub-par RTP of 94.48%, the payouts can still get relatively good thanks to 4 available jackpots: Mini, Minor, Major and Grand, with the last one awarding 50,000 credits!

Special Features

While at a first glance, the special features that are available might look boring, they actually do a great job of keeping things interesting.

First there’s the Wild Symbol that acts as a substitute for all standard symbols in the game, giving you a higher chance of landing a winning combination every time it finds its place on the reels.

Then there are the Free Spins that are triggered by 3 or more Scatter symbols, rewarding you with 10 spins.

During this feature, two extra symbols come into play – x3 and x5, which will act as a substitute for other standard symbols while also multiplying each win they are a part of by x3 or x5 accordingly.

Last, but not least, there’s the Second Chance Re-Spin feature that is triggered when you land 2 Scatter symbols.

The reels that contain the 2 Scatters will remain locked in place while the other reels spin again, giving you a bigger chance of triggering the Free Spins!

Verdict

This provider usually comes up with interesting titles, but for some reason, Chief’s Magic just seems to fall a bit short.

While it comes with great graphics and decent betting options, some might find special features and payout potential a bit disappointing.

If you don’t feel like this game is up your alley, check out other slots by Ainsworth as they cover a plethora of different themes in their portfolio.
