Theme

When it comes to theme...
…it can’t be said it is 100% unique since it features the pearl connection along with some symbols often seen in Chinese-themed slots. Spinning on the reels, the cards represent the images of a beautiful woman, temples, lion statues, bracelets, jade butterflies, Chinese hearts and playing cards.

Not very original, but also not focused on the plain dragon or lotus story as we see in most of these types of slots. The graphics and animation aren’t at the highest level of quality, but all together with design offer a nice-looking presentation on both desktop and mobile devices.

Betting and Prizes

This game provides 243 ways to win over 5 reels and 3 rows. With the possibility to bet from $0.30 to a maximum of $300, the betting range is quite wide.

The temple symbol is the most generous one, followed by other high paying cards such as golden dragon statue, golden ring, green butterfly, pestle pot and pink heart. The lowest paying symbols are the letters A, K, Q, J, and numbers 10 and 9.

The 5x3 grid reveals that this is one of the games that belong to the classic slots category. But that isn’t completely the case since its gameplay is spiced with a few special features.

Wild Symbol

The Chinese Girl image represents the wild symbol that substitutes for all other cards except for scatters and can appear only on reels 1, 3 and 5. All winning combinations containing one or more substituting wilds pay x2.

Extra Spins

The Scatter takes the form of a Chinese Temple symbol. Three or more of these landing anywhere on reels at the same time will trigger this feature.
A different number of scatters award a different number of complimentary spins:

3 scatters – 15 plus spins
4 scatters – 20 extra spins
5 scatters – 25 additional spins

During extra spins, all non-wilds wins are multiplied 3x, while the winning combos containing a wild symbol will result in a win multiplied by 6x. 3 to 5 scatters appearing again will retrigger the feature.

Our Take

This title does reasonably well when it comes to elements like graphics or features. Still, the RTP of 94.19% might be considered a disadvantage by some players. Especially compared to new releases with a much higher rate than this one.
