Glutters Slot Review

Glutters is a 5 reel, 20 pay lines video slot game with a Wild symbol, a Scatter symbol, a Free Spins round, and a randomly triggered Food Cannon feature. It has been developed by Leander Games.

About Glutters

The Glutters slot game is set in a fantasy world which is full of candy canes, ice creams, and cupcakes. This sugar laden land is home to the adorable Glutters, who love nothing more than to hand out prizes in return for some tasty snacks.

The symbols on the reels consist of six different Glutter characters (Purple, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red) who are all different sizes, plus the 10, J, Q, K and A number and letter patterns.

The music in the game sounds like it should feature on a children’s TV programme and was catchy, but somehow annoying at the same time.

Betting Option

To work out your total spend per spin, you simply need to multiple the number of active pay lines in the game (1 to 20) by the line bet ($0.01 to $10). This allows you to spend between $0.01 and $200 per spin.

Slot Features

The Wild symbol is the games Red Glutter. This symbol can replace the other symbols (excluding the Picnic Basket) to make up winning combinations. He also has the highest multiplier in the game.

After any spin on the Glutters slot game, it is possible to trigger the Food Cannon feature. This randomly selects one type of Glutter on screen, and allows you to fire up to 3 food items at them. The food items will cause them to gain weight and morph into higher paying symbols. The fatter they get, the more money they will be worth.

The Picnic Basket is the games Scatter symbol. If you manage to bring up 3 or more Picnic Basket symbols in any position on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th reels, then you will get to play their free spins round. The round starts by showing you 5 different Glutters who need to be fed. Pick what Glutters you would like to feed, and then fire food at them with the food cannon. Each Glutter will have a different amount of free spins to reward you, and the more weight they gain, the more free spins they will be able to giveaway.

The food in the cannon will be selected at random and will either consist of an apple, a cupcake, a burger, or a bomb. The apple will make them move up 1 weight category, the cupcake 2 weight categories, and the burger 3 weight categories. However, if a bomb is selected, the poor little Glutter will explode!

This round will end once every prize is won or lost. Don’t worry if you end up blowing up all your Glutters though, as you will still be rewarded with 5 free spins on the game. The free spins round will be the same as the base game; however, the Food Cannon feature is able to be triggered more often.
