NextGen is known for putting out games that have good graphics and gameplay, so it's not really all that surprising that the Medusa 2 slot has turned out to be pretty good on all fronts. However, what is surprising is just how much they have focused on wild-based bonus features in this game since most games these days try to reinvent the wheel. This game is based on a simple premise of soldiers going after the legendary Medusa from Greek mythology, and this leads to players getting lots of opportunities for value.
Basic Game Format

Our Opinion
My opinion on this game is that it's great graphically and in terms of gameplay. It doesn't use hokey 3D-rendered graphics that you see sometimes that don't look all that good, but it manages to really capture the rage of Medusa and how the soldiers who tried to kill her had a futile task ahead of them. The combination of the multiple wild features and the locked reels feature gives players different ways to win as well, which adds excitement and variety.
