In case you didn't know, the bank system was established in Ancient Egypt. The first Egyptian bank was called the Bank of the Nile.
If you want to see how it looks, let's head down to Ancient Egypt for a visit.
Bank of the Nile video slot is developed by Realistic Games software with an Ancient Egypt theme.
The background of this slot is light yellow, reminding of gold and sand. The reels are placed in a vault. There are Egyptians symbols on each side of the reels.
Enter the vault and search tombs to get big rewards! The music theme is a light Arabian music, played by flute and accompanied by the drums occasionally.
There are 10 regular symbols in total, 5 of which are the low paying royals A, K, Q, J and 10. There isn’t anything special with the design of these symbols, they look plain and simple.
On the other hand, carefully designed high to medium paying symbols come in the shapes of the Game Logo, an Ankh, Sun-looking Ornament, the Lotus Flower and the Eye of Horus. The Game Logo is the most rewarding symbol in this edition.
There’s also a Wild Symbol that will substitute for all other regular icons bar the Scroll Scatter which appears only on reels 1, 3 and 5. We’ll talk about the Scroll Scatter furthermore in the features section.
Bank of the Nile comes with a playground of 5 reels, 3 symbols high and 20 pay lines where winning combinations are formed by matching 3 or more symbols consecutively from the leftmost reel.
The betting range is quite vast, as it is to be expected considering the title of the game, starting with the minimum amount of €0,20 and going all the way to the maximum bet of €50,00 per spin.
When playing the game on a maximum bet setting, the maximum potential in a single round reaches 500,000 credits. The developer managed to keep the RTP at an average level of 96,04%, but we never really had an issue with RTP when it comes to Realistic Games slots.
Flaming Wilds - the feature triggers at a random point in the base game and when it does trigger, you’ll be rewarded with a random number of Wilds on reels 2, 3 and 4.
Tomb Bonus - when you land Scroll Scatter on reels 1, 3 and 5 at the same time you’ll trigger this feature. You’ll be taken to a new screen to a Pick Bonus game, where you’ll pick Pots. There are 5 Tombs containing different pots.
Each of these pots may contain a cash prize or a scorpion. Simply pick a pot and see what you get! If you manage to acquire all cash prizes you’ll also be rewarded with a multiplier of x2, x3, x4, x5 or x6.
If you stump on a scorpion, then you’ll advance to the next Tomb straight away. If you get 5 scorpions then you’ll enter Jackpot Tomb where 6 chests await for you. Pick a chest and reveal a cash value!
It’s definitely an interesting theme, giving you a chance to see how you’d manage in the banking world. The game has RTP of 96,04% and offers a decent max cashout.
Bank of the Nile is now also available on your mobile devices thanks to Realistic Games.
