Theme

It’s time to hit the dance floor and let the good times roll!

If electro – house is not your cup of tea and you don’t go to festivals, you’ve probably never heard of Hardwell.

One of the best DJs in the world for several years now, he’s known to draw large crowds to his concerts and make a great atmosphere.

With those credentials, it’s not a surprise he was the StakeLogic’s inspiration for this video slot.

Electronic disco beats are rolling in the background while the neon symbols are spinning.

The grid is set on the stage…

… and in the backdrop, you can see a huge number of people, dancing and pumping their fists in the air, obviously enjoying the concert.

The design is interesting and beautiful.

Colors are vibrant and go very well with black painted cylinders.

Betting options and symbols

Beside creating titles for Novomatic, as a part of Novomatic Group, StakeLogic has created quite the portfolio of classic and modern slots for itself.

With 5 reels, 3 rows and 25 fixed paylines

… this video slot has adopted some traditional features of fruit machines.

Among the neon symbols, on the low – paying end of the paytable, you’ll see good old cherries, lemons, oranges, plums, and watermelons.

AND…

… on the high – paying end, you’ll find icons that follow the theme of the game. Blue headphones, green DJ deck, purple speaker and as the highest paying of them all, DJ Hardwell himself.

If you’re lucky enough and you land 5 Hardwell symbols on the line, you’ll get 500 times your line bet.

When it comes to betting options, …

… you can choose the coin cost and the number of coins you want to play per line.

The coin value goes from 0.01 to 0.20 euros while you can play with up to 10 coins per line.

BUT…

… What’s a fruit machine without a Wild?

The Wild icon is represented by the dancing crowd on one of DJ’s gigs. And like pretty much any Wild, it’s there to substitute for all symbols except those that trigger bonus rounds.

Wild appears only on the cylinders 2 and 4.

Special features

The developer is offering some interesting additional features.

To activate the Bonus spins and reels upgrade, you need to land 2 or 3 bonus symbols which appear only on the cylinders 1, 3 and 5.

When that happens…

… And before you start the spins, you need to choose between 4 mystery boxes. Each one of them holds a different upgrade.

You can get a random Win Multiplier, boosting all winning combos by x2, x3, x4, x5, and x10, or Win Both Ways - have your winnings being paid from left to right and the other way around.

In the remaining two boxes…

… there is a Wild Fruit upgrade, randomly selecting one of the regular fruit icons and making it Wild on the 3rd reel, and Expanding Wild upgrade, making all the Wilds you land during this round expand.

Retriggering is possible, so besides 10 original spins, you can receive 5, 10 or 20 additional ones as well as 1, 2 or 3 upgrades.

That’s not all:

Randomly triggered during the base game, Super Spins feature begins with 6 to 15 golden question mark icons appearing and locking in place. When the last one lands, they will all transform into matching regular symbol.

Conclusion

Sharp visuals, great graphics, and energetic soundtrack will attract not only the followers of the electro – house music scene.

There are not many extras but the ones that are offered are action-packed. With the possibility of retriggering spins and upgrading, the gameplay is anything but boring.
