Zanzibar Slot Review

Zanzibar is a 5 reel, fixed 30 pay line video slot game that has been released by WMS. It features a Wild symbol, Scatter symbol and a bonus round.

About Zanzibar

When we first heard of the Zanzibar slot game, we were thinking that it was going to be based upon the place of the same name. However, it is actually themed around a fierce and beautiful warrior princess, who just so happens to be called Zanzibar.

The symbols on the reels have an Arabian influence and include; Beautiful Sunsets, Horses, jewel holding Monkeys, Jewellery, Daggers, Ornate Jugs, Coffee Pots and the Spade, Club, Diamond and Heart playing card symbols.

The music in the game reminds us somewhat of the carousels we used to go on as a child. The music is pleasant enough; however, we felt it didn’t really fit in with the theme of the game.

Betting Options

As Zanzibar is a fixed 30 pay line video slot game, you can spend anywhere between £0.30 and £90 when spinning the reels. Instead of showing players the individual coin sizes in the game, Zanzibar simply shows the total bets. Just select the amount you would like to spend per spin and the reels will automatically spin.

Slot Features

There are two different types of Wild symbols in the game. The standard Wild symbol (Sunset) can appear on the games 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th reels and can replace the majority of the other symbols in the game, excluding the Zanzibar symbol.

The second Wild symbol is the beautiful Sunset Palm symbol. This symbol can only appear on the games 3rd reel and will automatically trigger the Replicating Wild feature. This will send out bursts of pink light onto the reels, which will change three of the symbols on screen to make up a winning pay line.

The fierce Zanzibar symbol can trigger the games free spin round. Simply bring up 3, 4 or 5 of these symbols on screen and you will be rewarded with a minimum of 10 free spins on the game. During the free spins round you will be taken to a separate set of reels, which will contain all the same symbols as the base game. The free spin feature is also able to be re-triggered during your free spins.

The game also features an auto play feature. This can spin the reels for a pre-determined amount of spins. This will save you from having to keep clicking on the spin button.
