Lots of television shows and movies have been made about pirates in different forms, and the fact that they are after gold makes them the perfect fit for an online slot theme. Capecod Gaming jumped all over this idea with their I Pirati Del Bounty slot, which translates to the Pirate's Bounty, and you'll have an opportunity to score with your own bounty in this game with multiple pirates and ways to win some pretty good prizes. The graphics are 3D in nature with a few different characters, and you can see the water of the ocean behind the reels as you play.
Players in this game will have 15 ways to win on each spin with 15 paylines. There are five reels and three rows, so overall, you have a pretty normal format to play with. Coins vary from $0.01 to $1 each, and that gives you the ability to bet from $0.15 to $15 per turn. We should note that players who want to play for higher stakes may want to find a game with a higher level of betting available. There is also an option to play for fewer than 15 paylines. Doing so will lower your return to player percentage, which hurts your average payout rate, so we highly suggest against it.
Ther'es a very large ship that's listed as the "special" symbol, and three or more gets you a set of free spins. You'll get five free turns for three of these, and it doubles to 10 free spins for four. Five of a kind in this special ship symbol earns players 20 free turns. This is a pretty run-of-the-mill bonus feature without anything extra added in, but it's still nice to have the opportunity to get free chances to win prizes in this game.
The cannon bonus symbol shows up on all five reels. If you get five of them on the reels at once, then you're taken to a bonus feature that makes a lot of sense considering the pirate theme. You'll get a chance to shoot eight cannonballs at the enemy ship, and for each of the enemy's cannons that you destroy, you get a special, random payout. The chances of winning are essentially random, but it's another way to get paid, and it's something that fits the concept of the game pretty well.
The lady pirate is the wild in this game, but she shows up in two different ways. A regular wild just substitutes for any of the non-scatter and non-bonus symbols. However, there's another wild with a "2x" symbol on it, and it acts as a wild multiplier. Any winning combination that uses at least one of these doubles the size of your win. We don't have to explain why that can turn into some pretty serious payouts.
The best regular win in the game is 2,000x for five of the pirate captain with at least one 2x wild multiplier, and it's 1,000x for five otherwise. You can also get 500x for five of the pirate flag, and the win fr five of the gold coins is 250x. Another 250x win can be had for five of the chest, presumably because it has the same gold coins in it. The green parrot symbol, the skeleton pirate symbol and the bombs earn 150x. Along similar lines, you can pick up 100x for five of either the blue K, green Q or red J card rank symbols.
The symbol set of this game is very fitting. Even for the card rank symbols, you'll see them sitting covered in gold and pearls, which fits the treasure aspect of the game perfectly.
Capecod Gaming's I Pirati Del Bounty slot incorporates its pirate them in virtually every aspect of the game. They deserve props for that because not all companies "get it" and will make games with disjointed parts that make no sense together. This slot also uses an attempt at 3D graphics, though they come across as being a bit primative. With all of this having been said, the game as a whole seems pretty average, and with the extremely stiff competition out there, we can't really say that we recommend this title for the average player. If you just really love pirate-themed games, then you may want to give it a try for the sake of that, but otherwise, we don't think most players will get much out of it in terms of enjoying the experience it has to offer.
