Format and Betting
This game is a 25-payline video slot, but you'll notice that there aren't any markers for the lines like you often see in many games. One reason for this is that you can't change how many lines are turned on, and you'll always be playing with all 25. These are spread across the five-by-three grid of symbols, and they pay from the leftmost side to the rightmost side only.
You get a whole lot of options in this game when it comes to changing your bet sizes, and that makes it easy to home in on the exact wager size that you want per spin. Coin sizes vary from $0.01 up to the $20 level, and you can bet up to 10 coins on each line. You will have a minimum bet size of $0.25 per turn as a result, but the maximum will really just depend on wherever the casino puts the cutoff, so it can vary from site to site as a result.
Free Spins Bonus Round
First and foremost, the main bonus feature for this game centers around a set of free spins. When you get three or more of the dancing scarecrow symbols, you'll pick up a set of free spins. Three or more during the feature will re-trigger the free spins to add eight more to your total. On top of that, you'll be given a 3x multiplier to all of your wins during this feature, so there's obviously a tremendous amount of value to be had here.
Your starting number of free spins is based on a counter, which is much different than how they are determined for most other games. Each corn cob symbol you collect adds one to the counter, which always resets to eight when you first start playing or after you trigger the feature. If the total number gets up to 30, then it triggers the feature automatically.
Wild Symbols
You'll actually have two wild symbols in this game. The only difference is that one of them doubles as a bonus scatter symbol. The dancing scarecrow and the "wild" symbol both act as wilds and substitute for anything in the game. You can make winning combinations with mismatched combinations of these two wilds for payouts as well.
Like all payouts in this game, the wild payouts are multiplied by your total wager. You'll get 20x for five wilds on a payline, and it drops down to 5x for four of a kind. Three of a kind of this symbol is worth 0.4x. Note that you'll be given the single highest available payline win on each line, so your wild symbols are never wasted.
Expanding Pumpkins and More
If the crazy-looking bird appears directly to the left or right of a regular pumpkin symbol, then you get a wild-based feature where that pumpkin will expand vertically in both directions to become wild symbols. That obviously helps you to get more wins than you would have received otherwise.
Additionally, you can get a squirrel symbol beside of a pumpkin to turn that pumpkin into a regular wild, but it will not expand. This still helps you to get extra wins you would have missed out on without the feature.
Payouts, Prizes and Combinations
Players can pick up a solid 15x win for five of the pumpkin symbol. Wins of 10x and 9x are also available for five of a kind combinations of the bird and squirrel symbols. The corn pipe gets you 8x for five, and five of the acorn or corn symbol pay 5x and 3x, respectively.
The remaining six symbols are all card rank symbols. The A through 9 pay out 2x to 0.8x for five of a kind of each.

Habanero Systems really added a lot of variety with the features between how the free spins mode is triggered, the multiplier in that mode and the wild features.
