Kings of Chicago is a 5 reel and fixed 5 pay lines hybrid game. It has been designed by Net Entertainment (Net Ent) and includes; a Wild Joker Card that can doubles your winnings, a Scatter symbol and a Free Deal (Spin) round.
About Kings of Chicago
Kings of Chicago is the very first game by Net Ent that blends the excitement of video poker into an online slot game. Your normal slot game symbols have been replaced by a deck of cards, you simply bet that each deal/spin will result in you getting a winning poker hand on one of the five different pay lines.
The game consists of 15 different cards that are placed in a 3x5 formation on the reels. These aren’t any run of the mill playing cards though, as they have been given a 1920’s Chicago mobster theme. You can; therefore, expect images of sharply dressed gangsters on the ‘King’ playing cards, and beautiful women in flapper dresses on the ‘Queen’ playing cards etc.
Sound effects consist of cards being shuffled and dealt, and some soft 1920’s themed music also played when you pick up a win.
Betting Options
You have to play with all five of the pay lines in the game; however, you can choose the coin size ($0.01 to $1) and how many of those coins you would like to place on each line, by amending the games Level (1 to 10). This allows you to spend between $0.05 and $50 per deal/spin.
Slot Features
When you spin the reels, the game will deal out a set of 15 new cards onto the screen. If you manage to make up one of the following poker hands, then you will pick up a win; Natural Royal Flush, Five of a Kind, Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House, Flush, Straight or Three of a Kind. Each of the winning hands carries a win multiplier between 2 and 10,000.
Don’t worry if you are not an experienced poker player, as the game picks out the winning hands automatically for you. You can also see each of the different winning hand combinations in the games pay table.
To make the game even more interesting, Net Ent has added some additional features. The first is a Wild Joker Card that can replace any of the other cards in the game. If you make up winning hand with the Jokers card help, then your winnings will also be doubled.
The second is a special Scatter Label, which can appear randomly on any card. If you manage to get three, four or five cards with Scatter Labels on at the same time, then you will be given 10, 15 or 30 free deals/spins on the game respectively. Any winnings during the free deals/spins will be doubled, and it is also possible to re-trigger the feature.
