Shark School Slot Review
Shark School is a 5 reel and 50 pay line video slot game that was designed by Real Time Gaming (RTG). Its features include; a Grouped Wild symbol and a Scatter symbol that can trigger one of three different bonus rounds.
About Shark School
RTG has managed to come up with an unusual theme for their Shark School slot game. It is an underwater game that is themed around a high school that is attended by different sea creatures. The Clown Fish is the schools stereotypical Nerd, whereas the Sharks are the cool and athletic Jocks.
The symbols in the game are well designed and include; an Octopus, the High School, four different Shark symbols, a Clown Fish hiding in a sea anemone, three other Fish and a selection of Letter and Number symbols.
The music in the game is exciting; however, we found that the reels took rather a long time to stop, so we used the stop feature to stop them automatically. You can use this by simply re-pressing the games Spin button.
Betting Options
The Shark School slot game allows you to spend between $0.01 and $250 per spin. To find a total bet amount that you are happy with, you are able to change the number of pay lines in the game (1 to 50) and the games coin size ($0.01 to $5).
Slot Features
The orange Octopus is not only the teacher in the game, but also the games Wild symbol. This symbol can only appear on the games 1st reel; however, it always appears grouped. This means that you can often have more than one Wild symbol on screen at the same time.
The Wild symbol can replace each and every other symbol in the game. Please note that the Wild symbol can only count once for the games scattered symbol.
Three of the Scattered High School symbols in any position on the games reels will launch one of the games three different features; Swim, Fishy Swim, Bad Sharky or Don’t Eat the Teacher. Select one of the symbols to see what feature you will get to play.
The Swim Fishy, Swim feature rewards players with up to 25 free spins on the game. A poor Fish is being chased by a hungry Shark. The Fish will start three spaced ahead of the Shark. Each time a Shark symbol appears on the games 3rd reel it will move one space closer to the Fish; however, a Fish symbol on the games 3rd reel will increase the gap by one space. Your free spins will continue until either the Shark catches the Fish, or if it escapes after 25 spins. If your Fish escapes, then you will also be rewarded with a 200x bet multiplier. Any winnings picked up during the free spins round will also be tripled.
The Bad Sharky feature randomly rewards you with between 3 and 10 re-spins on the game. During the free spins a Shark symbol will cover the entire 3rd reel. This Shark will eat any other Fish symbols that appear on screen and will replace them with a Shark symbol.
The Don’t Eat the Teacher feature also rewards you with some free spins on the game. A Shark on the games 5th reel will try and eat any Octopus symbol that is on the same row. If the teacher survives, then you can carry on spinning the reels for up to 25 free spins. If the teacher gets eaten, then the free spins round will be over. If the teacher survives all 25 spins, then you will also be given a 100x bet multiplier.
