The Pixiu online slot is a game produced by Arrow's Edge that has an Asian theme. More specifically, its theme is based on various types of mythological creatures, and you'll see dragons and more on the reels. There's a style of play found in this title that we aren't sure happens anywhere else where the game cycles through four distinct levels after so many spins to give players an exciting change in events that unfolds over and over again. The graphics are reasonable, but not excellent, but the gameplay elements are definitely interesting.
Game Format and Betting
Three reels, three rows and five paylines are what make this game up as a fairly standard classic slot. You'll have bet sizes available from $0.50 to $200 apiece, which corresponds to line bet wagers of $0.10 to $40 each. We would have preferred if the smallest bet size was a bit lower, but it's not terribly high. You can play with fewer than five paylines, but doing so drops down the RTP percentage, which in turn will lower your chances of winning relative to your bet size, so we don't recommend it.
Four Gameplay Levels
When you start playing this game, you will find yourself on the first level. There are four levels, and they play through over and over every 25 spins. Each level changes some things about the game and how some of the payouts work, especially with regard to the free spins feature. There's a counter on the top-right corner of the game that shows where you are and how many spins it will take to get to the next level. This is a fun way of spicing things up in a game.
Feature Selection Mode
The golden coin with a square through the middle is the feature select symbol. When you get three of them anywhere on the game board (as a scatter), then one of three things happens. You will get an instant payout, you'll be given a free spins mode, or you will earn a shot at a different bonus round. The selection is yours to make, and this helps you to have more of a degree of control over your destiny when you play this title.
Free Spins Bonus Round
