Theme

Stunning Hot might be based on a classic theme, the team made sure to demonstrate that they could play with high-end graphics as well. As a result, the entire background of the game is decorated with pulsating flames that frame the reels.

The silhouette of a two-headed dragon blowing flames adds to the overall dramatic settings, while the reels are framed by a similar set of commands as in other slots from this provider.

This non-progressive release manages to stick to this classic atmosphere that many players love while using modern graphics and some very dramatic visual effects. The sound atmosphere stays basic, however, with only some casino sound effects to accompany the players.

Betting Options

The title was designed to be very accessible to all players, experienced or not, which is something we really appreciate. The game setup features 5 reels and 5 fixed paylines, leaving you to choose your next wager with the sidebar on the right or the buttons on the command bar. You can bet from 0.05 to 50 credits per turn, and it also includes the bet max and autostart options, just like in the vast majority of modern slot games.

First of all, each win on the reels gives players access to an optional gamble game, where you need to choose between red and black. Find the right colour to double your reward, or lose it all if you were to bet on the wrong colour.

The Star symbol mentioned above is also a Scatter, which means that you can score prizes with 3 or more stars present anywhere on the reels at the same time.

Paylines do not matter as far as this symbol is concerned, and you can win up to 100 times your current line bet thanks to scattered stars

Our Take

Stunning Hot caught our eye mainly because it managed to blend old and new quite efficiently. On one hand, you have the old-school casino symbols, the basic rules and high volatility, but on the other hand, you can enjoy a few special features, a higher jackpot and some beautiful graphics and animations.

That being said, we would still say that Stunning Hot belongs more in the old-school, arcade category overall. Newcomers to the slot game market will enjoy the graphics but might be discouraged by the game’s high variance, which scatter and gamble mini-game cannot really make up for.
