The story of Snow White has been portrayed in tons of different ways from video games to movies, plays, books and cartoons. Reelnrg's Snow Wild video slot uses this story as its basis, and it uses great graphics and a lot of smart features to provide players with strong gameplay as well. Format and Layout

The format for this game is solid with five reels and three rows. There are also 30 paylines that pay from left to right only, and this gives you plenty of opportunities to win from the regular pay table on each spin. One issue that players may have with this game is that the minimum wager per spin is $1.50, which comes from a $0.05 bet on each payline. You can also wager much higher than this, just depending on where you're playing, but the lack of $0.01 or $0.02 options will keep a good number of players from wanting to try out what this game has to offer.

Wild Snow White Symbol

Snow White herself is the wild symbol in this slot, and that's where the name of the game comes from. She appears on all reels, and she acts as a 2x wild multiplier. Get any winning combination that uses at least one of these wilds, and it will double in size.

The prizes for the wild are pretty solid as well. You'll get 500x when you line up five of a kind on an activated payline. The wins for four of a kind and three of a kind are 150x and 40x, respectively.

Queen Scatter Symbol

The evil queen is the scatter, and she appears in her youthful form when she's scattered with a silver crown and black hair. She has a 500x win for five of her located anywhere on the game board, and the scatter wins for four of a kind and three of a kind come in at the 150x level and the 40x level. Three of a kind (or more) of this queen symbol gets you a set of free spins with an extra feature for more value.

Sticky Wild Feature

During the free spin feature, the evil queen will come to her true form and give you sticky wilds as an older lady with white hair. When she shows up on the reels, she'll act as a wild, and she'll stay in place while the other symbols spin for the rest of your free spins. This means more wins than you'd normally get, which increases the value of the free spins by quite a bit.

Respin Prince Rewind Feature

The prince shows up on all five reels, and he gives you a neat way to get extra wins. While he acts as his own paying symbol, he also prompts a respin feature. You can also take home 250x for five of the apple, which is a key part of the main storyline. Five of the black magic mirror gets you 200x, and you'll win 150x for five of the dwarf in the purple hat. The other six dwarfs make up the low-paying symbols, and they give you between 75x and 20x for five of a kind on an activated payline just depending on which ones you get.

Overview

There are a lot of good things to say about the Snow Wild slot. The graphics are pretty good, the gameplay is excellent, and the feature set drives a lot of action. The main weakness of this game is that its minimum bet size is a bit on the high end, and that will keep a lot of players from trying it out, which we think is a big issue. It's also worth noting that some of the five-of-a-kind combinations get you very small wins like 20x for five of one of the dwarves, and that's the type of thing that we think will cause resentment from players who are excited they hit a big combination only to see that small of a payout. Aside from all of that, it's worth playing if you don't mind the bet size issue.
