Theme

Like so many slot machines online today, Wu Xing looks to the East to get its thematic inspiration – to the ancient philosophy of China to be precise. That is because the game is based on the five elements of Taoist thought…

...Earth, Metal, Water, Fire and Wood. These icons all take place on the reels as represented by the following traditional Chinese characters: 水, 金, 土, 火, 木.

According to the thinkers of ancient China, these different aspects of the natural world were all interconnected, either feeding or canceling each other to keep a constant equilibrium of forces in the universe.

The analogy works perfectly that the five Wu Xing phases have been used to explain everything from the changes in the galactic cosmos to the changes of political systems.
