This video slot review is for the Game of Thrones five reel and 243 ways to win game. It includes; Multipliers, a Scatter symbol, Four Free Spin rounds, a Gamble Feature and Stacked Wilds.
HBO’s hit television series; Game of Thrones was developed from George R.R. Martin’s hit book series ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’. Microgaming managed to sign a licensing deal with HBO to create the very first Game of Thrones themed video slot game.
The overall design of the game is pleasing; however, we would have liked to have seen some of the characters from the series used as the games symbols. Instead, symbols consist of; House Lannister, House Stark, House Baratheon, House Targaryen, the Iron Throne and some Metal Letter and Number symbols.
The music and sound effects in the game are brilliant, as they have used the music from the show.
Betting Options
This version of the game gives you 243 ways to win on every spin; however, to work out your total wager you only have to pay for 30 imaginary lines on each spin. You can amend the games coin size ($0.01 to $0.10) and the amount of coins you would like to use on the 30 imaginary lines (1 to 10). This means you can spend between $0.30 and $30 per spin.
Features
To pick up a win on the 243 ways to win version of the Game of Thrones game, you simply need to bring up three or more matching symbols adjacent on the reels. All wins pay left to right, excluding Scatter symbols.
The Game of Thrones Logo is the games Wild symbol. As a Wild symbol, it can replace every other symbol in the game, to try and help make up a winning combination on the reels. The only symbol it cannot replace is the Iron Throne.
The Iron Throne can pay out a randomly selected cash prize when two symbols are on the reels at the same time. It can also trigger the games free spin feature is three or more symbols make an appearance at the same time.
The free spin round is a little bit different from the norm, as you can take your pick from four different free spin features;
