Overview
It’s that time of the year, right? Some of us get pretty excited for Halloween, and we can’t wait for it to arrive the next time around.
People who are into Halloween commonly enjoy the alternative, quirky and dark side of culture in general, so it’s only logical that there is a video slot themed around it, and it’s called Super Halloween.
What’s in a name, right? It seems like the guys from Concept Gaming really needed to emphasize that playing this game is really like no Halloween you’ve ever had before.
Trick or Treat!
The Scary Theme
Once you start the game, you will be greeted by a loading screen that shows a haunted mansion, and basically it provides you with an insight on what you are about to experience…
…so if you are into horror movies, books, and video games, you will surely love this one. It was meant to scare you, but we’re not really sure how successful it is at performing this task.
This is a basic video slot setup with five reels and three rows, but if you take a look at those reels, you will realize that they’ve managed to include all the essentials required for a proper Helloween.
Lower paying symbols include bats, a black spider with some red mark on its back, a boiling cauldron, a carved pumpkin, a ghost that radiates green light, and a scarecrow. Higher paying symbols include a guy that looks an awful lot like Count Dracula, a witch on a broom, and a wizard that brings out some magic purple light.
The Wild symbol is represented by an evil grinning witch, and you will also stumble upon the Bonus symbol that comes in the form of Frankenstein, while the Freespin is the Devil himself.
Pop The Hood Open
The dashboard is pretty standard, and it involves the obligatory spin button, along with the auto play function which comes in rather handy when you get tired of clicking away. There are 20 selectable paylines, and you can also adjust the coin value for each bet and the number of coins you want to bet.
Those of you who feel like high rollers will surely appreciate the Bet Max button.
Bonus Features
The Wild will substitute for all the symbols except for the Bonus symbol and the scatter. Landing 3, 4, or 5 Freespin symbols will be rewarded with 13 (we’re pretty sure the unlucky number is intentional) extra spins. The same rules apply to the Bonus symbol, and all bonus wins will be added to your regular payline wins.
Don’t forget that there is a chance of winning a random jackpot!
Wrapping It Up
Of course, this isn’t the only Halloween-themed game out there, but the good folks at Concept Gaming have really hit the sweet spot with their Super Halloween.
